Potassium alum, potash alum, or potassium aluminium sulfate is a chemical compound: the double sulfate of potassium and aluminium, with chemical formula KAl(SO₄)₂. It is commonly encountered as the dodecahydrate, KAl(SO₄)₂·12H₂O.
