(a) pH Meter
A pH meter is a scientific instrument used to measure the acidity or alkalinity of a solution, reported as pH on a scale from 0 to 14.
How it works
A pH meter measures the hydrogen ion concentration (H⁺) in a liquid using:
• Electrode (probe): senses the chemical activity in the solution.
• Reference electrode: provides a stable comparison signal.
• Display unit: shows the pH value digitally.
The probe generates a small voltage that changes depending on the acidity, and the meter converts this into a pH reading.
(b) Dropping Bottle
A dropping bottle is typically:
• A glass or plastic bottle fitted with a dropper cap or pipette.

It is widely used in agriculture as a fertilizer, in medicine as a laxative, in laboratories for chemical preparations, and in industry and cosmetics for various applications.
KECSHA Eastern Region Conference
The exhibition was held at Nakuru Day Secondary School from 14 to 17 April 2026. The KECSHA Eastern Region conference provided an excellent platform for engagement and business growth. Sciencelab actively participated in the event, showcasing a wide range of laboratory equipment, reagents, and educational solutions tailored to meet the needs of Junior Secondary Schools.
Throughout the four-day exhibition, the expo team successfully distributed over 300 product JSS catalogues to teachers and school administrators. This created strong awareness of the company’s offerings and allowed potential schools to better understand the quality and variety of products available at Sciencelab Limited.
